I'll give you credit for drawing this to my attention. You pointed out the vehicle on the lot, but each trader ends up driving it for themselves.
My only concern is that we are nearing a top in XIV and those who are not careful and just jump in are at risk.

This is an uncertain time for Xiv and the market at large.
Though there really is no way to know when it will all end and be caught with your pants down,
I'm still going with Uvxy going under then over -150 on the weeklyCCI(39) currently at -109, as the end of the bull run, then entering the seesaw phase, which could turn into a Bear if symbol SH monthly MA(2)
closes above MA(21) these are my rules,
I've evolved a lot as a trader but God only knows if this will play out again. At least I'm only risking a small portion of my current net worth.

If XIV decides to go up another day next week, then tank for the next several weeks, it will ultimately be up again going into the next several months imo. Xiv 130-160 unless it splits.

Xiv scenario, small up day Monday followed by 3 down days to 108-110ish, probably 109.56ish, then a slow steady climb. You can get in here if you had the patience to ride it out.
Just a semi uneducated prediction.

Perception is there is not much value in anything right now.
I would look at shorting 3x gold and silver ETFs. Will either drop, or bounce then drop.
Either way, DROP.
