TRO,
Thank you for such a great thread.

Some mechanical questions about AAPL today...

Open 96.95.
BZ triggered well after open.
1) So when I see 97.05, I enter a buy order for 97.15?
Relying on price-improvement to get me in?

Then the stop triggered a few seconds later.
2) When I see 96.85, I enter a sell order for what?
96.85 and 'hope' for a fill?
96.75 and 'hope' for a fill?
96.00 and be sure of a price-improved fill?

3) Now, as I type this, the long BZ was entered again.
I try again, right? Since the gap has not been filled
nor has the open + 1.00 been made.

Green candle at blue line.

Enter trade.

Exit trade with profit.

Rinse.

Repeat.

BORING!!

TRO,

Thank you for posting all these great filters. As a newbie I have the following questions:

When you fade the gap, do you actually watch your screen all days, and just use your instinct to get out of a trade (like when the price is whipsawing), or if there's a special trick to it?

Do you set a particular point to take profit? How do you know if the price will continue to run higher or lower?

Without a sell stop, how can you tell the day is not gonna go your way? Or do you just hold your breath and watch?

After the gap is filled, you said you will trade both up and down, do you still stick with the original buy zone (open +- $0.10)?

I have looked through this thread and maybe I missed it, but I don't understand the key to entries and exits, perhaps you or someone who are trading with this strategy can help?
