OK....finally out of MHP and MCO ....down 6.6% and 2.3%.... Since 1/18,... 9 trades....4 losers and 5 winners. roughly 3 weeks worth. Even with that loss/win ratio.....up over 6% gross when measured against 100% of the money dedicated for investment...but, over 16% when you factor in that at most...only 40% of the total kitty was ever at risk at any given time...maybe 1 day, for an hour or two, there may have been three trades on and then one of them cashed out, leaving only two for the rest of the day...but for the most part, it was two trades on or one... and usually none..So there's the latest....I'm using the filrter on page one...the second clickable one...the one with adx(5) above 40...I'm using the RSI (2) SOLVER at 50. If I was around the computer and noticed the buy fill during the day...I would run the Solver immediately and place a sell order for the same day .. in case it shot up and went past the RSI(2) > 50 dollar value ...(I don't think this ever happened...but you never can tell when it will ..so...) otherwise...all buy and sell orders were placed the night before or early morning prior to market open...and left untouched.

The time to buy KERX or any momentum stock,is "on the way up",on the close of a very high volume day.Jan 28 was that day.Hold for 2 or 3 days,if and only if you're in the money from day one, sell it when it runs out of the money.Conner's method, you're buying into a stock that sold off. They don't always come back like the book said.Try my method.Good luck,Miketranz......

Good luck. I had to go to a different site to see that this had triggered. SF data still has the low at 11.11.

Did you exit KOS or holding on to it.
Is there any other stock which got picked.
Kevin,
Did you run optimization for this month. What are you using for this month.
Thanks
Bill

@Billirider321
Still in KOS. I have a double-up order @10.53 (-5%) should this go against me. I've had no other triggers since then, although one did come close yesterday.

You might wanna get rid of this one. Not gonna move up for a while with 30 million shares being diluted/dumped at <11.

Question for Kevin,
I am a member at stockbee.biz and I mentioned this system over there. One of the prominent traders there backtested this system and came back with different results. Here is his post:
"A few days ago, someone posted a link to a pullback system highlighted in a stockfetcher forum. This morning I implemented this system in my own backtesting software. While it was profitable, my results were nowhere near as good as the ones mentioned.
Then I re-read the description and saw "On a further 6% pullback the next day, enter long using a limit order." So I went ahead and put "C * 0.94" in my "Limit Price" field, and, lo and behold, I get a result like 70% ROR and 5% MAXDD. My profit graph looked a lot like his. Cool!
Except, I had made the same error as I now am sure the original poster must have done in whatever software he uses (I think he said it was StrataSearch.) If you can know in advance what today's close will be, and enter 6% lower, that will generally work rather well!
Using the correct limit price formula of "C1 * 0.94", the results went back to what I was seeing without the limit order: around 25% ROR and 50% MAXDD (with most of the good results prior to 2008).
Bottom line: don't trust every backtest result you see online. It is remarkably easy to introduce a "forward looking" error. To my knowledge, there are NO daily stock picking systems with statistically valid backtest results that come anywhere near the kind of numbers this guy claims to show."
Can you comment on this? Thanks.
